How it all started...

August of 1999,  a small group of 20 individuals came together to talk about what it would look like to plant a church in this community.  We first began meeting at the Ludwig Community Center followed by a short stop in a store front off of Main Street.  In early 2000 the church contained to grow and we moved to a building on Porter Industrial Lane.  It was in that building that God began to help us reach people from many different walks of life.  Through God's provision and the faithfulness of the those who had come to call Hedgeway their home we were able to purchase land and build the facility we are in today.

Expanding the vision...

The vision of Hedgeway is rooted in our foundational verse from Luke 14:23 "Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled."  This has helped to guide us throughout the years as we have been able to partner with missionaries across the globe.  This includes places like Thailand, Scotland, Albania, and Guatemala as well as impacting our local community and state.  We desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus for those who are in need.

Where we are headed...

Throughout the years the way in which we reach those in need may look different but one thing is still the same, the message of the Gospel.  As we continue to honor God's word and serve those around us we look forward to going deeper with our mission partners and empowering those who attend Hedgeway to fulfill the Great Commission in their homes, jobs, and our community.
